Youngsville
Youngsville was originally founded in the early 19th century by French Acadian farmers. This “fastest-growing city in Louisiana” is a wonderful rural-city/small-town community surrounded by sugarcane fields with convenient access to the big-city amenities of Lafayette, Broussard, and New Iberia. Maybe that’s why Youngsville was named “The Best Place to Live in Louisiana” in 2011 by Yahoo!
Shopping, Dining, Entertainment
Youngsville has your average quick-fare staples like McDonald’s and Pizza Hut, but why not try the local favorite, Morvant’s Bar and Grill?
Parks and Recreation
The Youngsville Sports Complex provides locals with the venue for baseball, soccer, tennis and walking paths and a Community Center with concessions.
Schools
Youngsville’s public schools are the Ernest Gallet and Green T. Linden elementary schools, and Youngsville middle school. The local Ascension Private High School as well as neighboring public high schools are options for older children.
